本利用規約（以下「本規約」）は、Paper Atlas（以下「本サービス」）の利用条件を定めるものです。利用者は、本サービスを利用することで本規約に同意したものとみなされます。
本規約は、本サービスの提供条件および本サービスの利用に関する運営者と利用者との間の権利義務関係を定めることを目的とし、利用者と運営者との間の本サービスの利用に関わる一切の関係に適用されます。
利用者は、正確かつ最新の情報を提供してアカウントを登録するものとします。登録にあたっては、本規約およびプライバシーポリシーへの同意が必要です。アカウントの認証情報は利用者自身が責任をもって管理し、第三者への貸与・共有をしないものとします。
利用者は、本サービスの利用にあたり、次の行為をしてはなりません。
本サービスの AI 機能は、利用者自身が用意した LLM（AI）プロバイダーの API キー（BYO 方式）を用いて動作します。AI への入力内容は利用者が選択したプロバイダーへ送信されます。利用に伴うプロバイダーの料金は利用者の負担とします。AI による生成結果の正確性・適法性は保証されず、利用者は自己の責任で内容を確認するものとします。
利用者が取り込んだ文献等のデータの取り扱いは、プライバシーポリシーに従います。利用者はいつでも退会し、自身のデータを削除できます。利用者は、自身がアップロード・登録するデータについて必要な権利を有していることを保証するものとします。
本サービスは無料でご利用いただける機能に加え、一部の機能を有料プラン（サブスクリプション）として提供する場合があります。有料プランの料金・提供範囲・支払方法・無料利用枠および試用の条件は、本サービス内の料金案内および特定商取引法に基づく表記に定めるところによります。決済は外部の決済事業者（Stripe 等）を通じて行われ、当該事業者の規約が併せて適用されます。解約・返金の取り扱いは料金案内および特定商取引法に基づく表記に従います。
本サービスは現状有姿で提供され、運営者は本サービスの完全性・正確性・有用性・特定目的への適合性を保証しません。運営者は、データの保全について合理的な努力を払いますが、これを完全には保証しません。利用者は自己の責任でバックアップ等を行うものとします。運営者は、本サービスの利用により生じた損害について、法令で認められる範囲で責任を負いません。
運営者は、必要と判断した場合、本規約を変更できるものとします。重要な変更を行う場合は、本サービス上での掲示等により利用者へ周知します。変更後の本規約は、本ページに掲載した時点から効力を生じます。

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) set out the conditions for using Paper Atlas (the “Service”). By using the Service, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.
These Terms are intended to define the conditions for providing the Service and the rights and obligations between the operator and users regarding the use of the Service, and apply to all relationships between users and the operator relating to the use of the Service.
Users shall register an account by providing accurate and up-to-date information. Registration requires agreement to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. Users are responsible for managing their own account credentials and shall not lend or share them with third parties.
In using the Service, users shall not engage in any of the following:
The Service’s AI features operate using an LLM (AI) provider API key that you supply yourself (a BYO model). Input to the AI is sent to the provider you select. Any provider fees incurred are borne by the user. The accuracy and legality of AI-generated output are not guaranteed, and users shall verify the content at their own responsibility.
The handling of literature and other data you import is governed by the Privacy Policy. You may close your account and delete your data at any time. You warrant that you hold the necessary rights to the data you upload or register.
In addition to features available free of charge, the Service may offer certain features as paid plans (subscriptions). The fees, scope, payment methods, free allowances and trial conditions of paid plans are as set out in the in-app pricing information and the Commercial Transaction disclosure. Payments are processed through an external payment provider (such as Stripe), whose terms also apply. Cancellation and refunds are handled as described in the pricing information and the Commercial Transaction disclosure.
The Service is provided “as is,” and the operator does not warrant its completeness, accuracy, usefulness or fitness for a particular purpose. The operator makes reasonable efforts to preserve data but does not fully guarantee it; users shall make their own backups at their own responsibility. To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for damages arising from use of the Service.
The operator may change these Terms when it deems necessary. For significant changes, users will be notified by posting on the Service or similar means. The revised Terms take effect once posted on this page.
